Armature Burnishing Machines
“SUBRTO” has developed state of the art ARMATURE BURNISHING MACHINE with unique features first time in INDIA. Armature Burnishing Machine has sturdy fabricated structure for vibration free operation. Machine is ergonomically covered on all the side and top, above the working area machine has extruded aluminum frame, with polycarbonate sheet mounted on frame through hinges and handles. Machine cover below the working area has steel sheet covers with handles for quick removal and replacement of covers. Machine is fitted with high-end hydraulic power pack from yuken/ vikkers with top surface having skirting on all the side to prevent oil dripping on floor. Pneumatic actuator for positioning of armature at loading station. Photo-sensors for detecting the presence of armature on loading station, all loading and unloading functions are pneumatically operated. Auto lubrication systems and all necessary functions are auto / manual PLC based.
Machine can be easily integrated in to automated production line. This machine is works on principle of “Plunge Rolling”. The total cycle time(including loading & unloading) of burnishing of an armature is 12 seconds. An unskilled operator can operate this machine.
Advantage of Burnishing on shafts
Motor industries have great benefit by Roller Burnishing; it reduces Noise level in moving parts. Heat resulting from friction, has a direct effect on surface finish. This temperature rise causes dimensional changes that can have an adverse effect on the functioning of the parts. By roller burnishing, it is possible to reduce friction by up to 30% .
